When a Door Closes
Ever hear the phrase, 'when a door closes, a
window opens'? Well, such has been the case here. We had some major
printer hassles; but that gave us a new idea. So, you now have the
opportunity to get your Homeschool Cookbook on CD. You'll be able to print
the recipe you're working on, the photos will be in full color, and you'll
also save on shipping.

TIP OF THE DAY
-------------------
How to stop Meatloaf from Sticking: Line the bottom of the pan with a
piece of bacon.
And, in response to the tip about cutting onions:
Laura, On the subject of onions... I find that having a lit (scented)
candle nearby is a big help! and I've also heard if you keep the root
intact as you're cutting that helps, but I've never tried that one. :)
Thank you so much for your e-mails, I enjoy them & apologize for not
replying sooner. ~*;*~Michele
L.B.: Thanks Michele. You've just given me an idea. Leave on the root, cut
it under the water, burn a scented candle, put on a pair of sunglasses,
and put a piece of bread in your mouth! Now, doesn't that make a hilarious
picture!

TIP OF THE DAY
------------------
My son came up with a creative idea the other day. Maybe he saw it
somewhere, I don't know. Anyway, we had some miniature marshmallows left
over from making the Frozen Mint Dessert in the Homeschool Cookbook. So,
he took a piece of bread and covered it with peanut butter. Then he folded
it half. He took the miniature marshmallows and made one row on top of the
other at the opening side of the bread. It looked just like a mouth with
teeth!
Thanks to all those who sent in the notes after seeing the moose picture.
Hey, I even learned something - Maine has moose too. I didn't know that.
If you missed the photo,

Thanks, and have a great evening!
